As founder and proprietress of SPOT Venue in the Brainerd art district for over four years, she facilitated multiple opportunities for local artistic professionals to collaborate in joint concerts, such as Celebrations, The Road Art Show, Female Future and The Alter-Nut. Through the pandemic, Yvonne relocated the studio to St. Elmo supporting a community oriented project for creative collaboration then expanded into Lookout Valley with a second studio at Lookout Lake.

In the summers she facilitates The Plumbline Project, a two-week dance intensive to reach the local movers and expand dance education to those who otherwise, wouldn't have the opportunity. Last fall she stood as adjunct professor of Advanced Ballet at Middle Tennessee State University and this season begins new creative partnerships with sensorial artist, Kris Baspalec, composer Tim Hinck, stilts with Emit Arts and Playful Evolving Monsters, Walnut Street Publishing, Common House, Redbud Venue and Barking Legs Theater.

Celebrating 25 years of teaching experience, previous & current students dancing/teaching/choreographing/producing worldwide, certifications in the Royal Academy of Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique, and a HUGE heart, she’s thrilled to guide a community of dancers and artists for such a time as this!
